Gerald Swets, Ward 3 Representative
I grew up and, together with my wife, raised our 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, in Highland. We also have 13 grandchildren. My wife, Sandi and I have lived in St John for 20 years. I managed an auto service center in Hammond for 18 years; and for the past 19 years I have been in the technology sales and service industry. I am the District Manager of the Crown Point branch, managing a sales team covering the 5 counties of Northwest Indiana. I have served on the board of my church, Community United Reformed in Schererville, serving different roles, including clerk and president. My 2 daughters are married and live in St John, so part of my reason to serve on Town Council is to keep St John a great community for my children and grandchildren.
