A MESSAGE FROM YOUR TOWN COUNCIL PRESIDENT

Welcome to the Town of St. John's official web-site. St. John is one of the fastest growing communities in the state.  Nestled in the Northwest corner of Lake County, our convenient location, hometown atmosphere and overall reputation, has earned St. John the title of "The place to live in Northwest Indiana".

Elected to office in 2003, myself and my fellow Council members took a pro-active approach to local Government by authoring and adopting strategic and stringent ordinances to assure that future development meets the expectations of our residents.  We have accomplished this and still maintained and preserved the traditional & historical values of our community.  A 25 year Comprehensive Master Plan was immediately adopted to assure the orderly growth of our community. We are currently in the process of overhauling our entire zoning ordinance to coincide with our Comprehensive Master Plan.

The Town Council is committed to providing activities in our own Town for the enjoyment of our residents, especially our children. We believe in offering the families of St. John opportunities to make memories that they will carry with them throughout their lives. Established an active Parks Department to provide programs for our residents

Installation of a handicapped accessible fishing pier at Lake Hills

Installation of a Tot Splash Park at Lake Hills
